I’m more surprised Roswell doesn’t come around and pick up your yard debris.

And here I thought the Lightning was only good at hauling ass.

They do, this was at my rental house. Doesn’t make sense to pay for 3 months of trash service in between tenants, so I’ve been taking it back to my house to dispose of.

It’s not really good at that. (0-60) in 7.5 seconds. Was decent for the early 90's I guess.

Sadly that’s faster than all but one of the 27 cars I’ve owned.

Edit: all 27. I was giving my Mazda 3 2.5 too much credit.

Dooo IT! The F-150 has only gone downhill since this body style, and it’s the perfect size (for me anyway).

If I had the money, I certainly would. The only obstacle is the Dakota, which I love too much to get rid of, even though it’s very quickly falling apart.

Just 1? It’s really more about the handling. Every truck should come with a LSD.

They are a good size too. I considered a Dakota R/T for a while when I was looking for a Lightning.

Yeah, I wouldn’t mind paying for 1 month, but everyone wants you to pay for 3 months. I understand why though, it’s not worth it to them considering they have to dropoff off a can and pickup the can on a seperate truck for just 1 month of service. The goal is to only have it vacant for 1 month in between tenants.

I dunno why, but over the past few months i’ve started really liking 1st gen Lightnings. I remember not liking them when they came out, because i was a kid who wanted everything to be fast. But that styling is so much better than the second gen and honestly, neither are particularly fast by today’s standards.

Not by todays standards, but it was equal to the Mustang Cobra at the time. I’ve always wanted one, the stock wheels took a couple decades to grow on me though.

I miss my red one. 1994, #1260 of the 5000-ish they built that year.

Not hard to get more screw out of them. MAF conversion, 30# injectors and E303 cam and rollers, it wakes that motor right up.

Or keep the speed density and put in a crane or custom ground cam. They tuned it for low-end with the 4.10 gears in the back, so that it leaps from the hole, but then falls on its face a bit.
